Well, here it is, almost November, I have not written anything of substance. I have been so busy with my school and trying to keep up with life in general. My son graduated in May which was a grand accomplishment. I have been working the OR since then. I have recently started working on one of my stories again, the paranormal romance. It was supposed to be a short sweet thing so I figured it would be the easiest one to finish first.

I am off work right now due to a neck problem, so what better time to catch up on my stories? I am going to try to get it done before I go back to work,,,,,,,,We shall see.

New Blog

After much hemming and hawing, I have decided to keep a blog about happenings in the world and with me. I wasn't sure anyone would be interested,but I thought it would make a good record for me anyway. I am on hour 14 of a 16 hour shift. I am on call, hence why I am on the computer and not working, in case you were wondering. No blood and guts for me at present.

It has been a remarkable year. I am working on 2 Masters degrees, my son is in a wonderful play and graduates in May with a BA in Theater. I am so excited for him. He has worked hard, and it is nice to see his hard work payoff at last.

I have caught up with many old friends that I had not seen in years. It is nice to exchange a christmas card or even a post card with people I haven't to in a while, at least they know I am thinking about them. It is hard sometimes to keep quiet and not say hello.

I am working on 2 short stories and have also recently started working on my 2 novels again by researching different places and settings. Yes, I get bored quite easy. It is why I am also reading 3 different books at present as well. My mind seems to fly sometimes with the amount of information it takes in, then somedays I can't retain anything. It is wild at times.
