I just found out one of my short stories will be published here in October just in time for Halloween. It is exciting as it is the second story I have had published. The first one was years ago in Horror Magazine Online. I am quite proud to be part of this anthology to benefit St. Jude Hospital.
I lost my dad in July of this year. That has been hard, because every time I have a question, I go to pick up the phone only to remember he is not there. It amazes me the things we don't appreciate until they are gone. Sad very sad. I am slowly getting over my grief and getting back to life.
In November, we are looking forward to our trip to Australia. My best friend is getting married, and I really want to be there for the big event. I met her around 10 years ago, and we discovered we had a lot in common. We met up once a few years back in Alexandria, VA when she was visiting the US. I can't wait to see her again. Sweet lady that she is.
