Here it is November 4, and I am working on a novel for NANOWRIMO. I don't know if I will finish it, but I am going to make a concentrated effort. I always do for NANO. How about you?

I usually set myself a goal of 5000 words for the month instead of the 50000 that most people do. If I meet that and get more, it is gravy. I hope everyone meets their individual goals, and I will see you at the Finish Line.

Having just had knee surgery, I have plenty of time to be working on several writing projects. I have been doing research for another Haunted Book. I have also revisited my two novels and added a little to both of them as well as working on 6 short stories for different arenas. I have been keeping busy lately.

It is hard to get into writing when you are first starting out in the business. You need to find a great mentor, and you need a great editor. I have both, actually many. Find a great writer's group. Networking and other skills you need to develop will come in time when you go to the meetings. Listen to what others are saying and learn from their mistakes. It is a trickle down road, and we all can learn something from everybody in the world. We all have a unique outlook on life, and those differences should be explored with an open mind and heart. You will be surprised at what you may hear and learn in a short session.

Well, hello there. I am busy at work on several things at present. I am working on the research for my second Haunted Book as well as my paranormal romance and a few other short stories. I am waylaid at the moment with a bad knee, so I am using the time wisely.

I have started writing down all my story ideas. They just keep coming to me. The only problem is now I have to sit and plan the logistics of each story. Oh well. That is the fun part. I love leaving a clue here or there that you never seem to notice.

I am also ready to hit the ground running starting in October with a bunch of signings coming. I have all 4 of my books, and my Haunted Charlottesville has been earmarked for next spring. I will keep everyone posted.

Can you believe it is July already? Where has this year gone? It will be Christmas in almost four months. That just really blows my mind.

Well, hey there and hello,

I had an eventful weekend at the Hanover Book Festival in Mechanicsville. I won Best Table. WOW! I was not expecting that. It was a great surprise.

My brother and I had gone to start promoting my new book, Haunted Charlottesville, which is coming out in the Fall. I am very excited and wanted to market to as many people as possible before the big day. I am working on a contest and cool prizes to go along with it. Stay tuned!

Hope everyone is enjoying the nice weather we have been having here in Virginia. It is getting warmer each day; however, I would love for it to stay in the mid 70s most of the time. Not too hot, not too cold. I do love the cold though. It is my favorite time of year.

I know most people love summer, but I am a winter fanatic. I guess with all the holidays and feasts to enjoy, it makes the perfect time of year. Please be safe out there and remember to wear sunscreen. Don't get horribly burned like I did in Pompeii many years ago. I still have the ring around my neck to prove it, haha!

It is a glorious day where I am in Virginia today. 70 degrees and just gorgeous outside. I am steadily working on a couple of stories and my paranormal romance. I am hopeful to have it done by December. That is my goal anyway.

I am also looking forward to Fall as my Haunted Charlottesville book will be out by then. I cannot wait to let you know about it, and I may even do some giveaways with it. I have not decided how I will ration out some stuff. That is soon to come.

Hey there and hello:

I am madly at work on several things, including a novel, several short stories, and some research for a new haunted book. We shall see how it goes the rest of the year. I am quite excited about the first one coming out in the fall. I will let everyone know the publish date as soon as I get it.

As I sit here looking out the window on this cold snowy afternoon, I am happy we are able to enjoy the little things in life. Heat, a sweet kitty, and sunny day can have all sorts of ramifications. It is also my birthday and my husband's. So we always find a great way to celebrate together. This year, we took a trip up to see my son in New York. It was a great time as I had not been since 1974 during the garbage strike. We were all over Times Square, Central park, Koreatown, Chinatown, and Queens. I enjoyed it so much, I am making plans for another trip soon.

Go and have a nice cup of hot chocolate or tea and stay warm out there. Hopefully, spring will have sprung by the next time we chat.

Spring isn't too far off now. Maybe the old groundhog had it wrong. Here's hoping. I love the cold weather, but I would like to see some more sunshine rather than clouds and rain.

I am looking forward to two book signings coming up on Mar 3 and April 28. I have done both of these venues before, and I enjoyed them immensely. Hope to see some of you at one or both.

I am extremely excited about my Haunted Book that is coming out this fall. It has many interesting stories and tales from Charlottesville and the surrounding counties near it. My brother and I spent a good eight months traveling and taking pictures of all the locations. I hope you will enjoy reading it as much as I did writing it.

I am working on several short stories and another haunted book at present, so I am keeping quite busy. I will let you know details as soon as I have them.

Here it is January of 2018. I am already registered for two book signings, and I am hopeful more will present themselves as the year goes forward.

I am hard at work on several projects, including short stories, another haunted book, and two novels. I am also working on getting speakers and arranging other activities for the writer's club I run at present. I enjoy doing this for the fun more than anything. It is always so wonderful to see someone get published after working on a story for a so long.

The weather can't seem to make up its mind these days. It is also the worst flu season we have ever seen. Everyone take good care and stay well until spring hits us in March.
