 Hey there,

How are you doing? Here it is the end of the year and another one getting ready to ring in very shortly. I like to look back and see all the good things that happened and plan for next year with some new goals. Some of mine might be:

Finish my paranormal romance

Finish my Richmond book

Spend more time with family and friends

Enjoy every moment and pick one positive thing each day to reflect upon

I think after the last two years, we need something good. Hopefully 2022 will be a far better year than the last ones we have had.

Please take good care and I hope you are safe, warm and full of good cheer in the New Year! Have a great one and a big celebration when the ball drops tonight.

See you next year,,Susan

 Hey there and hello!

As we move into the last days of 2021, we need to stop and think about the last year and what we are grateful for at the moment. I have been getting a few book signings in here and there, and it has been great to meet up with my fellow authors once more. I had no idea how much I had missed everyone until last Saturday when 44 authors got together to promote the Hanover Book Festival. Much fun was had by all!

I am also working on NANOWRIMO, but I have gotten a little behind. I need to work on catching up and I will get there, it just may take some doing. That is OK. I am chugging along and happy with my progress at present. I am currently working on my paranormal romance as I have been for a couple of years. My non-fiction books take up most of my time so I am happy to be able to work on it during the month of November.

It is getting cold here and I expect our 70 degree days are becoming fewer and fewer. I look forward to the warmer ones, but I also look toward the New Year in hopes good things are coming this way. COVID will be handled, people can get back to doing what they love, and all of us can get together without fear of passing on a deadly virus to someone else.

Well, take care, and have a wonderful holiday season and New Year!

Susan

 HAPPY HALLOWEEN!  πŸ’€πŸ’€πŸ’€πŸ’€πŸ’€πŸ’€πŸ’€πŸ’€

It has been a quick month to get everything done that needed to be accomplished. I am a little behind, but aren't we all?

I went to my first signing in two years yesterday and had an awesome time. It was at Historic Tuckahoe Plantation in Goochland. I signed many copies of my books and really enjoyed speaking with people about their haunted experiences as well. Some had some really good ghost stories to tell. It's always nice to compare notes.

I am looking forward to the upcoming holiday season. Thanksgiving for all the good food, and Christmas to see family and catch up on the year's events. What are you doing for the holidays this year?

NANOWRIMO starts tomorrow, and I am going to be working on finishing my paranormal romance. Here's hoping I get to 50,000 this year. YES!

Take care until next time, Susan

Hey there and hello,

Just jumping in to say Hello! We are almost to the end of summer, this year has passed by way too quickly. I think I saw a holiday meme the other days that said 15 weeks to Christmas! I can hardly believe it!

We celebrated my son's birthday yesterday, took him to the Bavarian Chef in Madison, Va. It was some great eating and I enjoyed spending time with my favorite people. He turns 31 today! I can't hardly believe that either. I mean, he was only 2 yesterday.

I hope everyone is being safe out there with all the new variants of COVID being discovered. It is a scary world out there at present, especially with COVID starting to pick back up again.

I am excited about my 2 signings I have coming up in October and November. I am eager to get back out there to meet and chat with people. It is always nice to see everyone at these events.

Well, back to writing, but I wanted to say hello.

Until the next time, Susan

 Hey there guys,

I am writing after a long indoor stay. Actually, I have been out for different errands and to work, but you know what I mean. I hope everyone is being safe and taking good care out there.

Well, my edits are done on my next book, Sleeping with Spirits. I am waiting for everything to be checked and double-checked and the book will be ready to go. It does take time you know. Wouldn't it be nice if it was instantaneous?

The difference is I learned so much with publishing the first one that I can apply to this one. So be on the lookout for surprises along the way.

I am also working on another non-fiction book plus my paranormal romance. I have several short stories in the works that I am hoping to find a home for soon. So I am keeping quite busy, how about you?

Alright, well, stay cool out there and take care. Hopefully, we can all come together again in the future and meet up at conventions or book shows like the gold old days. I can't wait!

Until next time, Susan
