Hey there and BOO!
It is that time of year when we are getting ready to enjoy the crisp fall weather and jack-o-lanterns decorating people's porches along with some other scary props and decorations. My favorite is always the graveyard look - tombstones, ghosts, and body parts coming out of the ground. This is my absolute favorite holiday.
I spend way too much on decorations especially when you can go to Michael's or Joann's and get them at a discount this time of year. So much fun!
I think Halloween brings out the child in all of us with memories of trick-or-treating and playing pranks. It is also the time when the veil between this world and the next is also the thinnest. Watch for messages that may come through when you are not expecting them! I believe the Day of the Dead is on November 1 & 2 this year.
I have been swamped with signings as well through December. I am so happy about the success of the new book, Haunted Inns and Hotels of Virginia. It has been fun to tell people about my travels and experiences in each locations. I also love to hear about anything they have witnessed. As a result, I have many new places to check out for future books. I always love hearing from my readers as they know of locations I had not thought about yet. I am grateful for such well-traveled readers.
Have a wonderful and warm Halloween, watch out for goblins!
Susan
