Hey there and hello,
WHEW! The heat on this side of the world has gotten crazy, 95 -100 degrees with a heat index of around 104. I stepped outside and felt it immediately. It reminded me when we traveled to Florida a few times, I felt like I was just going to melt into a puddle. So wear cool clothes and make sure to keep hydrated, and don't forget the sunscreen. I also remember visiting Brisbane, Australia and it being quite hot. I think if I had to choose I would live in Melbourne. It is much cooler and only 2400ish miles from Antarctica.
Currently I am still working on my Richmond book, 2 short stories, and 2 novels. One at a time I always say. So slowly but surely, I will get them finished. I thought I had my Richmond book under control, but then I found some other interesting sites so I have to rework my locations. I am having a lot of fun with it and learning many new facts that I hadn't known previously. Richmond truly is a fascinating town full of history.
We are gearing up for Father's Day here on June 21. We are having a cookout type of celebration with my son and his family. Can't wait to see my granddaughter and watch her play in the little pool I have. She loves to play in the water so this will be a good chance if I can find a good place in the shade for her.
I just finished reading Bentley Little's CITY HALL. I was wondering if some of it doesn't really take place sometimes. Overbearing bosses and workers who disappear or end up on different floors entirely from where they are going. Check it out if you are a horror fan, you won't be disappointed. I also finished THE HEART-SHAPED BOX by Joe Hill. WOW! That story was very suspenseful and I enjoyed every second of reading it. Check it out!
Well, back to writing and talk to you soon! Susan
